Who We Are
Executive Producer, Art Burack, has been working in the motion picture craft since 1976. He attended Dowling College and achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Arts in 1986. While attending college, Art conducted his own independent studies in film critique and production. Art recalls those years directing and producing Super 8 format film as the "mechanical age" of cinema production. " There was no computers designed to put your footage on a screen and edit and produce it with a keyboard and a mouse. It was all 'hands on' using a reel to reel editor with a tiny screen illuminated with an small interior placed lightbulb. The editing process was to count the frames of the filmstrip and physically cut the film with a splicer and use either splicing tape or glue to assemble your production. To add sound, a sound equipped projector that can record on the film's soundstripe, was necessary to record additional soundtrack music or sound effects, by plugging another sound device like a tape recorder. DVD or laser disks were not invented yet."
The studio comprises of consultants, technicians, artists, and musicians participating in recent and future productions.
